Southington, CT -- Tony Valenti and Ralph Calabrese of the R. Calabrese Agency, LLC has sold 0.75 / - acres of vacant commercial property to 100 East Main Street, LLC. This property is strategically located on the West Street (Route 229) corridor, less than one-quarter mile from I-84 in Southington. The new owners are preparing to construct a 1,800 square foot Dunkin’ Donuts with Drive thru. The Dunkin’ Donuts parcel is located in front of and is adjacent to a new Homewood Suites Hotel by Hilton, currently under construction. The Dunkin’ Donuts and Hotel are anticipated to open in the third quarter of this year. The R. Calabrese Agency, LLC also were the sole brokers of the five acre Homewood Suites site which Westcorp, LLC sold in July 2012 for $1,200,000. The property shares the local market with ESPN, Lake Compounce, Lincoln College, a new Lowe’s Home Improvement and Target anchored retail center, a variety of new medical office, including a new 30,000 square feet UCONN medical center satellite office.
